Ministry Apprentice Supporters Lunch

Dear friends,

On the 3rd of December, 2022. I had the great privilege to have held my Ministry Apprenticeship Supporter’s Lunch at St Stephen’s Presbyterian in Surrey Hills.

It was a joyous occasion with over 50 people in attendance, all there to support me in gospel partnership in one form or another. It was also something I did not have to set up and run on my own, but rather I had a lot of help to do this from my brothers and sisters in Christ, including the staff team at St Stephen’s.

The apostle Paul in Philippians 1:3-6 wrote, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

As I meditated on the words of the apostle Paul in light of supporter’s lunch, it really made me remember and thank God for all those who have supported me over the years up until now. It has been all the encouraging words, prayers and the words of wisdom that have helped me keep my eyes on my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in the past, and even more so, now that I’ll be serving him in the next two years at St Stephen’s in a full time capacity.

So for everyone in the past through to everyone who attended the supporter’s lunch, I truly thank God for you for your gospel partnership.
